Our Standard Boiler services are priced at £60 whereas our full strip down services are priced at £90. Services generally take about an hour.

What do our Engineers do during a service
- Check the condition of the boiler on the inside and out
- Check the condition of the flue throughout it’s entirety
- Check the ventilation requirements are being met
- Do a gas tightness test on the property
- Take a gas rate of the boiler
- Check the working pressure at the boiler and the gas meter
- Analyse the combustion performance
- Do a flue integrity test
- Do a fan pressure test (if possible)
- Check the safety devices are working properly
- Clean out the condensate trap
- Clean out any magnetic filters on the system
- Clean out the heat exchanger (if necessary)
- Re-pressurise the expansion vessel (if necessary)
Although we encourage our customers to service their boilers annually, sometimes your boiler will tell you when it needs to be checked by a Gas Safe Registered Engineer. If the flame in the boiler is irregular or yellow, if there are stains or smoke marks nearby, if you have to refill you boiler regularly, if the water pressure is sporadic, if the pilot light goes out regularly are all signs that a Gas Engineer is needed to service and check your boiler.
